Babies introduced....

I always enjoy the baby dedications. Sweet little children getting ready to be dedicated in front of an entire congregation. Instead of putting up several images, I decided to put up just a few.

In this photo, I had just finished taking one of Mom and the baby when Dad said "What about me?". So I couldn't resist...

Then there were these two...twins...a girl and a boy....and that boy just couldn't help himself. I think he is making a funny face in every photo.

Thanks so much for letting me be part of your special day with your children. I enjoyed meeting all six families. All of your children are beautiful.

My little models

I can't tell you how many times that I hear them say "Mommy, take a picture of me!"

Well here are a couple of my littlest models. Love those smiles....

Did I mention that this was in the middle of one of their big dress up sessions? They do this about 5 or 6 times a day!

Image of the Week

As you may have noticed, I remembered to change the Image of the Week. OK...so I was a day late. In an effort to remember to change the image every Monday, I have put a poll up on the blog.

Rank the Image of the Week! The voting will always end on Sunday evenings.

The image that receives the most favorable votes will be announced at the end of each month and posted full size on the blog. I haven't decided yet whether or not I will do a giveaway contest for a print of the image of the month. What do you think?

I was so excited when CityLife called and asked if they could interview me for a TTD article. It was even more exciting to be asked to provide an image. Aaron - Senior 2008

What a cool car to pose with! I couldn't believe it when this 1969 Mach 1 Mustang pulled up for the photo shoot...how sweet is that! It made me miss my first car....a 1980 blue Mustang hatchback....not quite as cool as this Mustang.

All I can say about Aaron is... Wow! He was so polite and so sweet and so charming. We took so many serious poses....its that cool look.

I guess that is why this black and white is my favorite from the session. Something funny was said right before this image was taken. I love the way you can just barely see a huge grin on Aaron's face.

Rui is a very talented musician, actor, and photographer....just to name a few.

He will be heading to New York in a few weeks to hit some of the modeling agencies.

I think he will do well...don't you?

Sometimes an opportunity presents itself

And when it does, you need to jump at the chance. All the rain has made for some interesting scenery. The kids and I were out today and we came upon this flooded area. It was just too cool of a shot to pass up.

Once you have "the shot" the creativity of how you can change an image becomes a must....

And then my son decided that I should try to do something completely different....so here is the second variation:

Sometimes, you just can't pass up those opportunities. Whether it is the chance to get "the image", or the chance to spend some "creative" time with your 15-year-old son while his little sisters sit behind you causing distractions.
