Talk about personality....Jasmine was just too much fun.

Her little sister, my favorite assistant, and I laughed more than anything. I really enjoyed getting to do Jasmine's senior images. She is a very unique girl and talented singer.

I wanted to say thanks to all my friends and clients who have been so helpful and considerate over the past few weeks.

For those that don't know, my sister-in-law had a major heart attack a couple of weeks ago and ended up going through a quadruple bypass. I am thankful to say that she has finally been moved out of ICU and is looking at the possibility of going home maybe by this weekend. It has been a rough three weeks.

I appreciate ALL of your prayers, emails, and phone calls. It has meant so very much to my family.

That said, it's going to be busy around this blog for the next week. Check daily for new images.

How about a Christmas Mini-Session?

I had a day off, so I thought I would do an afternoon of Christmas mini-sessions.

Let's see, first we had to reschedule due to the late hour and lack of light, then we had to reschedule due to illness, then the day wasn't right....I was beginning to wonder if it would ever come together.

When we finally made it, I think it ended up turning out all right.

I must admit this last one is one of my favorites...the magic of catching them when they are playing...completely oblivious to what is going on around them. You can just barely see Kimbrell as she passes through the frame behind her sister who is gleefully spinning away. These are the moments!

Once a child has warmed up in a session, it can be difficult to get them not to smile. It's like they are just meant to bubble over with smiles and laughter. I think Carter really nailed the "now don't smile" photos.

But don't get fooled by these shots, when given the opportunity, he smiled just as much as the rest.

Let me just say that Sasha was one of the easiest dogs I have ever photographed.

I will never forget Joshua and Brionna. Such a sweet girl with a sweeter smile. Such a bouncy boy with no fear of communicating his thoughts. Both of them 7 years old.....wow....I bet you are busy Heather.

The Amazing Maddox

This boy was a bundle of energy. I call him amazing because he can hold you captive with just a glance of those beautiful blue eyes.

His family really knew the meaning of "have fun and enjoy the session."
