So why does he think it's a poor subject? I think it really makes him look like a working photographer - the squatted pose holding the meter. The middle one with the plane in the background makes him look like he is a plane enthusiast - was/is he in the military. Good shots -

Mark I was in the USAF and spent most of my career working on B52's so the image with the Buff in it is perfect !
